How Does PinPointe™ FootLaser™ Treatment Work?

PinPointe™ FootLaser™ treatment uses invisible lasers to penetrate the nail. When the energy from the lasers is absorbed, it causes the pigment in the nail to heat, which in turn kills the fungus. The PinPointe™ FootLaser™ is currently the only laser that has been clinically approved by the FDA to treat fungi. 

Treatment sessions won’t take up an entire day. Even if you’re having all your nails treated with lasers, it will only take about 30 minutes. Most patients only experience a warm feeling during treatment and no pain. Not only is this treatment painless, the treatment can be done without the use of other medications.
